DIRECTIONS
These directions start from the 97 St. & 137 Ave Edmonton.
Numbers below correspond to numbers on the map
137 Ave. & 97 St. Go north on 97 street out of Edmonton
Take Exit "Edmonton Garrison" (hwy 28A / 97 st.) approx. 5.7 km north of 137 Ave
OBEY ALL SPEED LIMITS ON BASE (range from 50 km/hr to as low as 20 km/hr)
NO STUNTING
Enter Lancaster Park. Go straight (north) through 4 way stop intersection. approx. 8.0 km north of 137 Ave / 97 st.
Turn right ( east ) at Churchill Ave ( overhead flashing yellow light ) and check in ( show ID ) at the security gate ( Churchill Checkpoint ). Head east on Churchill till you get to a stop sign. Then turn left ( north ) on Rhine Road and head north to Vimy Ave. Turn right ( east ) on Vimy Ave and you will soon arrive at the air strip base security gate and you do need to check in again.
AIR BASE GATE The Military guard will check a security list and you must be on this list to get on the air strip.
N.E. Taxi Area is the course location of the event. Please drive slow ( 60 km/hr ) on air base runway.
NO SPEEDING OR STUNTING!
Event organizers can disqualify you if you are not obeying speed limits on the air strip
