Edmonton Autocross Challenge Cup

 

EXPLANATION OF TEAM COMPETITION

20 TEAMS ALLOWED

20 TEAMS* ( *up 2 more from 18 teams)

Team Competition

  • Only a team of 4 drivers can enter. 

  • All 4 drivers can drive their own vehicle or all can drive the same vehicle.

  • Out of town racers could drive up in one vehicle and all 4 drivers drive the same vehicle.

  • Individuals can contact Brian L if they would like to run. He will do his best to put you in a team.

  • If 4 individuals do request to be put on a team an extra team can be formed. Brian is the only contact to call for this.

  • A driver CAN NOT race on more than one team.

  • The best run from each driver will be added up at the end of the event to determine placement. 

  • 3 DNF runs from one driver would disqualify that team.

Explanation of NEW breakdown for prizes

  • If there is 20 teams, the top 3 overall lowest total time teams would win. 

  • Team 1-3 would be the team's with the 3 lowest total times - 4 drivers total best runs added together. Aggregate (total).

  • Team places will be determined after all runs are completed. 

  • Lowest to highest team placement of the best run of each driver on a team added together. 

  • In 2005 a new PAX division will also have prizes and/or cash for the best 1, 2 & 3 PAX winning teams.

  • PAX is a formula based on the class you run in. It is a formula to convert everyone's times on a handicap basis to make every car and driver at an even playing field.

  • More info on PAX to be added to the web site in the near future.

  • Awards will be handed out to the top 3 teams in both RAW division and PAX Division.
