Team member defects and team still wins event!

    Ian B was undecided the morning of the event which team he was running on. One team had one no-show that morning so Ian decided to jump teams. That left team N scrambling to find another driver. One of the team members Gord L asked his passenger that attended with him, Kyle, wanna drive the Lotus? Kyle hesitated and said with a big smile..... YES!

The course organizers put the word " Challenge " into the course design and made it a handful for most drivers on their first run. Overall the event was a success and look forward to the 2003 event date and location.

    Driver Jerry W has been having nightmares over the past two years over blue and white striped Miata's, a black Vette convertible and a 911 Porsche. He must have figured he was getting up there in age and said he needed something to offset his driving deteriorating over time. The Miata was fast, the Porsche recently got 20 to 30 more horses and Jerry decided he needed a 383 Stroker Motor to keep up with these three guys. Over last winter the 383 was installed and Jerry has done well this year. This weekend just wasn't Jerry's weekend as both the Miata and the Porsche cleaned all the Vette's including Jerry's.
 

After the trophies were all handed out Jerry was presented with a foldable rocking chair to relax between runs. The crowd laughed as Jerry sat in his new rocking chair. Jerry was told he needed to relax a bit more in-between runs and this chair will help out his times.
